A Round Up & The Future

I know I haven’t made a blogpost in quite a while, but I was hoping that my new website would be up and running before now. Unfortunately, it’s not. However, it will be ready in time for the release of Lightning & Power, the third instalment of the Indigo Skies series.

And I’m hoping that the release will be early to mid September, depending on how long it takes for cover creation and other bits and pieces of the release process to be completed.

Sydney, Book Trailers & Christmas Wishes

First of all, I’d like to give a little nod to the terrible events that have been unfolding in Sydney. It is a horrible thing for anybody to endure, but the Australians seem to have dealt with it in the best way possible. In fact, more nations should employ the #illridewithyou notion whenever this happens.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you should have a read of this article on the subject. A lot of people have also been sharing the above image in regards to the situation. It’s something that we should all adhere to.

Thoughts and sympathies are also with those in Pakistan who are suffering a similar and equally as terrible event. But let us move onto happier words…

Vlogging It, Relaxation, Illness & More Work

Well. it’s been a long and arduous week so far. I’ve ended up on shifts at either the very beginning or the very end of the day at work, so tiredness is ruling. Not to mention, I seem to have become the victim of yet another sore throat. Elves, Quarterly Reports, Vlogs & Signings!

I know they’re a weird bunch of things to list together, but after you’ve read this blog post they’ll totally make sense.

We’ll start with the elves. As you may have noticed, the word count for my anthology piece has finally reached the correct mass. It’s tentatively titled A Dream of Tomorrows, but that could change in the future.

The progress note on it is also swapped to editing instead of writing. That’s because the piece is actually, finally finished and just needs me to go over it before others get to look over it too. I’m quite happy with the piece despite the fact that it’s taken me months simply to settle on an idea.

Elves are also an unusual choice, for me. I prefer more modern fantasy than the way back whens. However, I think it’s worked out really well. Hopefully you guys will think the same. Of course, this particular piece is to be included in an anthology from most, if not all, of the Katarr Kanticles Press writers.
