A Round Up & The Future

I know I haven’t made a blogpost in quite a while, but I was hoping that my new website would be up and running before now. Unfortunately, it’s not. However, it will be ready in time for the release of Lightning & Power, the third instalment of the Indigo Skies series.

And I’m hoping that the release will be early to mid September, depending on how long it takes for cover creation and other bits and pieces of the release process to be completed.

Shopping, Sunshine, & Site Progress

We’ve actually managed to have some fairly good weather here of late, which may have slightly hampered my writing progress. For example, Howard and I decided this Sunday to go out for a carvery for lunch.

I have to admit that it was a pretty good Sunday roast, but I didn’t manage to finish it all. Somebody had decided we were going to sit next to the window. WordPress, Drinks, #Spn, & Freebies

Hopefully this has posted to Facebook. As some of you may or may not be aware, I’ve been having trouble getting my blog to post there. It seems that good old Facey keeps denying links to Blogger, which is incredibly annoying and part of the reason why I’m hoping to get a brand new website up and running soon.

In the interim, I’m crossposting my blogs both on Blogger & at a temporary WordPress account. You can visit the posts at either location, but, obviously, I’m hoping that we will have a better solution sooner rather than later.

Keeping it in the family, my brother and his girlfriend, Amelia Louise Carter (also a writer), are the guys that I have entrusted to create me the new website, so I really hope you’re all going to love it when it is complete. I will keep you updated on its progress.

Plants, Parents, Books, & Facelifts

It’s been a busy week. As you guys know, my MOT was due on my car. Sadly, it failed, but it only failed on one thing and it only had one advisory, both of which are being sorted today (huzzah!), which means my lovely Alba will have a clean bill of health. After all, she’s getting driven an awful lot more than she was before, now.

She also took me through to see my parents on Sunday (and drop Mr Bear off at his mother’s so he could help them move furniture). It’s nice actually having a day on a weekend where I can see my other half and family who all have regular working weeks. It also meant I got to go to the garden centre with my parents where I bought some pretty heathers amongst other things.

Mum also got me a fairy door as you may be able to see above.
