Seasonal Book Trumps

I’ve been fiddling around with different ways to grab attention on social media for my books, lately, and, although it started off really nicely, it seems to have dwindled a little since then. I suppose it’s no guarantee, though.

On the upside, it does mean that we’ve trumped my previous best sales year by quite a bit! Which is a good thing, unlike some other kinds of Trump that are blowing about these days…

Pumpkins, Kin, & Peppermint Tea

It’s been another long week that has involved shift changes, covering sick people, and still being quite ill myself. The cold moved onto my chest, which, I felt, was unnecessarily evil for it to do so. It seems to be mostly lifting, however, with a hand from peppermint tea.

Turns out that it’s pretty good for disintegrating that nasty mucus that settles on you. I’m so glad because this cough has been doing an amazing job of keeping me up nearly every night or waking me hacking up my lungs and unable to breathe. Which is all probably very annoying for Mr Bear.

So Much Tiredness, But Getting Words In

In case you were unaware last week, I was pretty snowed under at work. I’ve had long days and then I ended up called in on my day off, too. To say it was a hectic week for me is probably an understatement. And include into that the bi-annual performance review, too.

Hectic. Week.

Oh. And I also had a tyre valve replaced on the car and organised for her MOT next week. Keep everything crossed for me that Pretty will pass or at least not cost me too much money to have her fixed.

Christmas & 2014: A Year In Repose

365 days of ups and downs. I’m sure you can read back on them all if you really want to, but I thought it would be quicker to mention the ones I can really remember here in this single, all encompassing post.

We started the year with two book releases. Not my first title, but my first two novel length pieces; Preying On Time and Breaking Cadence.

First titles in both their respective series, I was glad to get these books finally out there for people to read. Plus, the publishing process is extremely exciting to go through.

Of course, this leaves me grateful to both Gayla Drummond and the other members of Katarr Kanticles Press.
