Katarr Kanticles, YouTube & Not Much Else

Besides from a few little personal bits, the title really tells you all you need to know about what you’ll find here. I’ve been busy (as usual) the last week and not all of it with conventional work.

As you saw in my last post, I recently created a book trailer for Breaking Cadence, which was placed on youtube. That got me to thinking how I’d like to help some of my fellow authors create similar trailers. Most specifically, Katarr Kanticles Press authors.

They are a lovely bunch of people and, as one of their number, I didn’t feel as if I was doing enough for the greater majority. Hopefully, my new sort of role will help rectify that wrong.

A Bouquet of Pages

I went out today to buy some flowers for our flat. We’ve decided recently that it’s a nice idea to do so because it makes the place smell and look nice. I did end up buying a plant, but not a bouquet.

I’ve been going to the pub a lot lately even though I can barely afford it. Luckily, I’m blessed with really good friends who distract me from that and other things while I’m there. Next Saturday I’m going out on a more planned night out with a good friend, too. It gives me something to look forward to this week.

I keep trying to find little things to look forward to, pinning significance on barely important stuff to keep myself going. It’s working for the moment.

One Hundred And Eighty!

Or 1,006 to be precise. That (at the moment of typing) is the number of blog views that I have had this month. It’s not a lot compared to some far more prolific blogs, but considering my relatively unknown status I take it as quite a pleasing result. It seems that my blog views per month are increasing on a regular basis. I’m only hoping that this trend continues quite cheerfully.

After all, everybody likes to be liked, don’t they?

I have to admit that I do get quite interested in stats and SEO (search engine optimisation) stuff. It still annoys me that when you search my name, Google tries to correct it to ‘Rebecca Claire Smith’ instead of ‘Rebecca Clare Smith’.
