Forgiving Zander, Paperbacks & The Winchester Brothers

I realise that I haven’t posted in well over a week. Of course, there’s a very good reason for that. I have been sorting out Forgiving Zander and making sure it is edited and that I am doubly sure it is as good as I can get it.

I know you guys have been waiting a lot longer for it than I originally anticipated. That’s not because I haven’t been doing my utmost to bring it to you. I promise that I have. But here come my excuses…

Those of you in the UK will know that we had half term last week and regular readers are aware that my day job is waitressing; so, as you can imagine, my last week was extremely busy on the old work front.

Swapsies, Piggies, & Third Anniversaries

As you may or may not know, today is my third anniversary of being with Howard Bear. I still love him to absolute bits and I’m assured that he feels the same. So if you’re wondering why I have been slightly absent yesterday and today then that’s why.

As you can see from the picture above, we went out yesterday in order to celebrate being together by spending time alone on a day out.

My writer friend and fellow Katarr Kanticles Press author, Tonya Cannariato (@tmycann) has nominated me for this award. Lord only knows why. I’m not sure that either me or my blog are worthy of being called ‘lovely’.

It’s certainly a blog, though, so I won’t dispute that part. And it does give you seven facts about me that you may or may not already know, so I suppose there is that.

Hospital Visits & My Writing Wage

Only two subjects for today’s blogpost, but I have a feeling that they may take up quite an area so it would be cruel to try to stuff extra bits and pieces in here and there. Of course, we must deal with the first topic first and the second topic second. Because that makes the most sense, right?

So if you didn’t come here wanting to hear about why I was awake pretty much all Friday night and had to make a hospital visit this week, then skip on ahead.

This is my dad. He’s given up smoking recently. My parents have both tried to do this years before with no success, but this time it has to stick. We were in Whitby when this photo was taken, which was a few years back, at least.

My dad had a job at the time, but he was made redundant about a year or so ago. I told you recently that we were waiting for several hospital appointments regarding some dizzy spells and such. Well…
