I realise I haven’t posted or been around on social media very much lately. I promise I have a good reason for that.
We finally moved out of our dingy, little flat and into our beautiful new home. Of course, it wasn’t that simple, though. It never is.
To many, it’s been a long and painful year. An awful lot of really well loved celebrities have passed away. There were also writing friends who should not have been taken so soon. There have been some good things this year, though, as this list describes.
And it’s also been my best ever year for book sales. 57 might not be a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I think it’s a fair bit. Especially when there are so many books out there from so many more well known authors.
Besides, I feel sure that next year we’ll hit the 100 mark. So, readers, let’s get spreading the word for 2017!

Heads, shoulders, knees & toes!
Well, mostly heads and knees. My head and my knees. I had a delightful early trip to the doctors this week. And I have another booked in for next week and one shortly after Christmas. Wooh…
No offence to any readers that are general practitioners but you’re just below dentists on my ‘what makes me anxious’ scale. It’s not your fault you scare the crap out of me.
But anyway…
And by seasonal, I, of course, mean Christmas time!
I put my tree up yesterday. Howard Bear wasn’t massively happy, but he was glad that I waited until we were closer to December this year before I allowed the seasonal madness to take over! Of course, even without a tree up, I already had a stockpile of presents.
I’m working on being organised this year as far as giving goes.
