I went for a job interview the other day. I didn’t get it. I’m not terribly sad about it, either. Maybe I should be, but it would have been part time and a thirty minute car journey there everyday, so it’s not a big loss.
But I guess I am having a little trouble defining myself without a paying job to my name. Sadly, being an author doesn’t yet count in that department. Hopefully, one day, it will.

It’s been an incredibly stressful couple of weeks; hence the lack of posting and updates. Mostly, I’ve been working or tidying or just stressing out. In fact, I’ve had maybe a couple of small meltdowns at home over the past fortnight.

One of these days off ended up being a trip through to York and a visit to one of my favourite stores – Lush!
In case you don’t know what Lush is, it’s a shop for handmade cosmetics. The products are wonderful and the shop always smells so heavenly from them! I definitely recommend that you try them or at least have a wander into a shop. Although, I will warn you, that the staff, fantastic though they always are, are also very helpful.
