It’s been a busy, tiring week in new house land. Gardening is taking its toll both physically and mentally. We have tonnes to do.

Of course, it’s decided to rain today, which is not the best weather to be traipsing around a plot of land that is basically just mud. Ergo, nothing much has been achieved.

Seasonal Book Trumps

I’ve been fiddling around with different ways to grab attention on social media for my books, lately, and, although it started off really nicely, it seems to have dwindled a little since then. I suppose it’s no guarantee, though.

On the upside, it does mean that we’ve trumped my previous best sales year by quite a bit! Which is a good thing, unlike some other kinds of Trump that are blowing about these days…

Welcome to the New Website With A New Book Release

That’s right, guys! We have a new website & a new book release.

I started my blogger journal in 2009, but, after seven years a lot has changed. And that meant that my blog needed to change, too. Thus, we have this new, exciting website built by my brother (WeDesign Digital).

Whilst I’m sad to leave the old blog behind, it wasn’t quite suiting its purpose as a professional quality website for an author. It’s just over three years since I released my first book, Desecrated Bonds, and we’re now onto the seventh with a trilogy complete and another series underway.

If you’d have asked me seven years ago if I’d thought I’d be where I am today, I would probably just have laughed.

More Death & Impromptu Burger Dates

It’s been another one of those weeks with another couple of celebrity deaths. We seem to have a lost a lot already this year. A few of the best, too.

Alan Rickman, Victoria Wood, Ronnie Corbett, Bowie, Paul Daniels, Prince, Terry Wogan…

And the list keeps growing. They all seem to be strangely clumped together and, sadly, a lot of these seem to be due to cancer.
