I’ve started writing the Indigo Skies sequel, which will be titled Taste Of Blood. I’ve been toying with the idea of simply writing a short story collection between books, but this sequel feels like the right thing to do.
Especially after setting so much up in Lightning & Power and Calling The Wolf.
My next dark fantasy book release is nearly here! By now, you must be aware that Calling The Wolf will be released on the 24th April. That’s less than a week away!

Heads, shoulders, knees & toes!
Well, mostly heads and knees. My head and my knees. I had a delightful early trip to the doctors this week. And I have another booked in for next week and one shortly after Christmas. Wooh…
No offence to any readers that are general practitioners but you’re just below dentists on my ‘what makes me anxious’ scale. It’s not your fault you scare the crap out of me.
But anyway…
I should be writing Delivering Hope right about now. I’m 30k words in, which is great. It’s far further along than I thought I would be after everything. But I’m not writing right now.
Instead, I’m wondering about humanity. Yesterday was Friday 13th. Bad luck according to many, but I don’t think luck had much to do with a lot of the horror of yesterday.
The lights in Paris are out.
And the rest of the world is sharing its grief in France’s national colours. Such is the sadness of our hearts.
