Grand Finale

So, for the last three years, I’ve been part of a fantastic team at our local Pizza Hut. That’s right, I’m finally revealing the name of the restaurant where I’ve been working. Having now finished there, I feel like I can tell you about it more openly.

It’s been three years of ups and downs with some brilliant team members and even a couple of great managers. I’ve made some great friends and there are a lot of people that I will truly miss working alongside.

Holiday AKA Good Food, Animal Parks, & Keswick

It was Halloween last weekend and although we’d organised a little get together not many turned up due to seasonal birthdays and such. Still, here’s a picture of my witchy outfit:

Despite that, we had a good time. Of course, the next day was spent readying our bags for our long trip to the Lake District. And there was also the fun of packing the cats off to my parents (something they did not enjoy at all).

In fact, they were pretty unhappy about the whole thing. Barley cried all the way (and all the way back when we brought him home). And Salem managed to claw his way out of his cat carrier and ended up sitting on the backseat the whole way there.

Horror Movie Survival Kit–[Top Ten Items]

I had an email recently from the cool guys behind ManCrates. They’re a gift service that specializes in crates for men that contain awesome gifts. The idea is that you have to open them with a crowbar to get into the goodies inside. Pretty cool in my opinion.

In fact, screw men. I want a crate I have to jemmy with a crowbar. Why should fellas have all the fun?

Although, to be fair, it would probably take me forever to open it, even with a big hunk of metal to help. I could, however, get Howard Bear to wrench it open for me, which might be useful when it comes to the subject of today’s post….

A Grand Day Out: Lavender & Cinema Cuddles

It’s been a busy and tiring weekend at work hence the late posting here. Thankfully, we’re now into the home stretch. Summer holidays are over and most of the schools go back tomorrow, which means a hopeful break from the tension building, long slog of the summer.

On a happier note, Howard Bear took a day off that coincided with one of mine and so we were actually able to spend some good quality time together.

And, as you might expect, that translated to a day out. It turned into a very expensive day out, but that was less intentional.
