I’ve been so busy, lately, it’s unbelievable. I’m back at work and we’ve had quite a busy start there, too, which makes me feel all the more guilty that, at some point in the near future, I will be leaving.
That isn’t to say that I haven’t loved it there, but the house we’re in the process of buying is somewhat far away. It would mean that it wouldn’t be worth it to remain there.
In regards to the house, the surveyor is supposed to be going around today. I don’t know how fast we’ll hear from them, though. If you’ve been through this process before, could you comment below and let me know how long you heard anything back after your survey was carried out? I’d really appreciate it.
We’ve been told it will be within 48 hours, but I’m concerned it might be longer. Or that we’ll end up chasing them up.
After all, we really want this house. However, it’s not totally up to us. If the bank aren’t happy, then it could nix the whole thing. In which case, we’ll both be incredibly disappointed. So fingers crossed!
On the plus side, my car didn’t cost me too much for my MOT. In fact, it surprised me and did pretty well once again. It was back at the garage today, but that was for a service. I think it deserved a treat.
All of this, however, has meant that I haven’t gotten an awful lot done with my next book except for the plot outline. I still can’t decide whether to plough on with the next book in the Indigo Skies series or to take a break and write something new before going back to it. What do you think, readers?
