So what do I have to tell you this week, my dears? Well, nothing much really. It’s pretty much been work, work, work, cleaning, work, work, work here. But oh well. We can’t have everything we want, now, can we?
On the plus side, I got a bit of Baying For Blood done. This means we’re up to the 33, 107 words mark. So woohoo! That’s about halfway or so, I’d say. We’re definitely into the middle bit anyway.
I’m loving writing Baying For Blood, but I have to admit that I wish I had more time to do it. Unlike lovely Gayla Drummond (@Scath) I can’t write quite so fast, either, as she inadvertently pointed out in a recent blog post.
I’ve also recommended one of her books to my mother, who is off ill again at the moment. She wanted something similar to Preying On Time and I thought Gayla’s Arcane Solutions would do the trick! She’s nearly got book three ready to be released too, which is dreadfully exciting news.
Not to mention, another brilliant author friend of mine, Ms Bex Aaron (@havenpark), is near to releasing the third and (I believe) final instalment of her Independence Day murder series. How exciting is that? She is a fantastic writer and you should totally check her out!
And remember I mentioned a while ago that a work colleague was going to buy me a present for selling more than ten copies of my books?
Well, he finally made good on his promise. I have to admit that I didn’t really expect him to, so it was rather lovely when he presented me with a bracelet rom his trip abroad in lieu of said promise. It’s a very lovely bracelet and, when I have a little bit more time, I’ll take a snap and show you guys it. If I forget to here it will definitely be on my Facebook and my Twitter so keep your eyes peeled!
And yes, I did say my mum was ill yet again. This time they finally think they know what it is and she’s going to go see a couple of specialists about it. Hopefully that will mean she’ll be on the way to finally having the problem solved.
It’s awful being ill but it’s much worse when you don’t know why or how to solve it.
In other news, I’ve also been trying to record some video for a Katarr Kanticles Press interview video for youtube. For some reason the video has been messing up so I’ll have to rerecord. I have no time over the next couple of days to do that, though, so I hope I can at some point. It’s a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while and will definitely follow a Q&A route unlike my rather random vlog subjects.
Speaking of which, I should really do another of those or how else will I keep up with Andy P Wood?!
The Q&A must come first, though. It will be great as it will allow me to discuss more in depth about my books such as Baying For Blood, Preying On Time, Breaking Cadence or Desecrated Bonds. If you have any questions about them that you would like me to answer via video then please let me know in the comments below or even send me them on Goodreads.
It would be lovely to hear from you guys!
Anyway, I’d better head to bed. Yet another long day tomorrow, but hopefully I can get some writing done on the night. Oh and happy World Cat Day! Why not help out this charity for the good karma, huh? Not to mention the furry faces who would luv u furever fur halping themz.
Ciao!
