Breaking Cadence is through round one of edits. I’m pretty happy with it as far as the first book in a new series goes. Yes, I am mad enough to be writing two series simultaneously.
Breaking Cadence is the first in my Survival series whilst Preying on Time is the first in the Indigo Skies series. Both are dystopian but both are in markedly different worlds.
I’ve already started the more in depth plotting of Indigo Skies second instalment, Baying For Blood, and the preliminary outline and opening of Forgiving Zander, the follow up to Breaking Cadence, is also in progress.
It’s nice to know, though, that the release of Preying On Time has encouraged more of you to try Desecrated Bonds, which, whilst only being a short, is still a proud achievement as my first real release ever. So thank you to those of you have purchased it!
I’m still absolutely in love with both covers, too, and can’t wait to see what Breaking Cadence’s will look like! I’m sure it will be just as brilliant.
As soon as I have it, I’ll show you guys – because I’ll be so excited about it that I won’t be able to stop myself from sharing. It’s a Katarr Kanticles Press planned release for April, but who knows? The release date might be pushed forward if I can get it sorted out a lot sooner.
In the mean time, I need to finish plotting out the details of the two sequels that I mentioned, Baying For Blood and Forgiving Zander, and get on with my short for the Katarr Kanticles Press family’s fantasy anthology. That’s scheduled for way off in the year, but we all know that getting a head start is the best way to success!
I’m also supposed to be getting my act together and crafting a piece for the After The Fall series! It’s so exciting having so many projects this year – especially with the idea that they will be SEEN and not stashed away in some hidden MS Word file never to see the light of day again until I get nostalgic, peek and hide them again!
Anyway, I’m going to go see if I can’t get a little bit more done on my workload before I have to cook and then report for the day job.
Write to you later!
