This is one of those rare posts where the first thing on my list is also the last thing I want to talk about, but I partly feel I must. After all, I write this blog to share my fiction and my life with you. To be honest, I wish this was part of the fiction so you’ll forgive me if I mention it and then quickly move on to something else. The thing is R broke up with me a week ago yesterday…
I would have mentioned sooner, only there was the blog challenge and I didn’t much want to talk about it anyway. I still don’t.
And besides, I have lots of other things to mention. Firstly, I want to talk about the seven deadly sins blog challenge.
I’m really glad I took part, even though I briefly considered pulling out due to aforementioned events. I don’t mind saying that I was a little concerned at first by the fact that it was only a hundred words, but judging by the excellent comments I’ve received (thank you all very much – I’m so grateful) I seem to have done the challenge some justice.
I’d like to thank Lady Antimony for initiating the challenge and (if you haven’t already) I suggest you check out other entrants:
Hopefully Lady Antimony will challenge us all again with something as equally exciting. Furthermore, if you missed any of my posts and/or you want to revisit them there will be a list with links at the bottom of this post.
Also, in accordance with my Aspiring Writers Pledge, I should mention a little of how my current WIP (Work In Progress) is going. As you can see, the number on the word count at the side there keeps changing every so often. With so many things happening and with having so many chores around the house, it doesn’t go up as often as I’d like. But it is going up and that’s the main thing.
I’m hoping that I’ll finish it at least before the year is out. If I don’t then you have my permission to yell at me.
Here are my Seven Sins, Seven Days entries:
I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed writing them.
I’m sorry this blog post isn’t longer. However, with things the way they are, I’m sure you can excuse me some more time to sort my head out. That isn’t to say I don’t want to hear from you, because I truly do appreciate all of the people who take the time to read through and comment on this blog.
Thanks everyone.

I thought your 7 posts were fantastic! I really enjoyed this challenge and meeting some great new people. I'll be in now and then to visit and I'm looking forward to hearing more about your story. Thanks for the mention as well. Take care.
Heather
Sorry to hear about what you're going through. I only know you through your writing, but want to express support for you.
I have never read anything I would consider better than your entries in this challenge. Your words, worlds and characters are so engaging, I want to read more.
I'm sorry you're having such a crap time – hope that the writing has been a bit cathartic at least. I've loved reading your work – and I hope to read more. Hope things get better soon!
It was truly an honour to post with such great writers as yourselves, so thank you all. And thank you for the well wishes. I hope things will improve too.
