Oh Damn, I’m Late!

I should have posted sooner, but I’ve been quite busy getting words in on Baying For Blood and working and chores and a myriad of other things. Not to mention that we are moving into the summer season at work and thus everything is becoming just that little bit more hectic.

You’ll be glad to know that I am much better than I was when we last spoke. I have to admit that I felt like death warmed up that particular day. That isn’t to say that I’m not currently writing to you from in bed.

My other half has gone to stay with his dad for the night, unfortunately for me. I hate when we’re parted for long periods of time. It makes me heartsick for him.

Anyway, he’s going to some kind of air show or military tourist park or something similar with his dad and his granddad tomorrow so he needed to be there from the bright and early.

I still miss him, though.

Wardrobes, Gardening & Baying For Blood!

Another eclectic mix, I know.

We recently had two wardrobes delivered. Huzzah! After over a year of living here we finally have a place to put our clothes that isn’t a freestanding rail!

In that year and a bit, my rail had already broken and was being held together by sellotape. And my other half had a rail that wobbled precariously if you didn’t balance it juuuust right. But now we have two wardrobes. Recycled wardrobes!

Both were bought from the British Heart Foundation (the same place where we got our lovely big sofa and our television table) for only £80, which is pretty damn pleasing. So not only did we recycle and get something that was within our tight budget, but we helped out a charity too!

Baying For Blood, Work & Anniversaries

Do you guys like the new blog title list format? I’m seeing a lot more hits lately when I post titles like this, but I don’t know if that’s due to the information in the title or just a general garnering of more interest on the web. Of course, it would be lovely if the hits meant more comments too, but I’ll take what I can get.

Winking smile

If you follow me on facebook or twitter, then you may be aware that I’ve been fiddling with the lay out of my books page recently. I wanted to make it a bit more user friendly and add a few more pictures than just a wall of text.
