It’s Halloween week and, as such, I thought this week’s top 10 should be My Top 10 Writing Potions I Wish I Had. In fact, if you meet any witches this Halloween that could whip me one up, let me know!
Halloween is nearly upon us but all of the local garden centres are doing Christmas special launches. As you all know, I love Christmas time. However, I love Halloween just as much.
And Halloween comes first, right?
Nothing exciting has really happened since my last post. I wish I could say that it had. I worked a lot over the weekend. Thirty hours plus, in fact, and squeezed in attending a wedding reception amidst that, too.
Incidentally, do you like the cupcake pictured above? It’s from the wedding reception I attended. It was for one of the chefs at work, Mr Joey Cullen, and his new wife Stacey. He made it himself.
It was Halloween last weekend and although we’d organised a little get together not many turned up due to seasonal birthdays and such. Still, here’s a picture of my witchy outfit:
Despite that, we had a good time. Of course, the next day was spent readying our bags for our long trip to the Lake District. And there was also the fun of packing the cats off to my parents (something they did not enjoy at all).
In fact, they were pretty unhappy about the whole thing. Barley cried all the way (and all the way back when we brought him home). And Salem managed to claw his way out of his cat carrier and ended up sitting on the backseat the whole way there.
