Sir WIPalot the PDF

I’m currently writing a new WIP that I hope to release for free in PDF form. I’m releasing it free because, as much as I’d quite like to make money off my writing, there is no way that I’m going to be able to do that properly if I don’t get some of my writing out there so that other people can read it, though. Plus, this will help me improve through criticism and through simply writing more. I may try to write these short PDF stories as often as possible.

The WIP is going to be about a writer trying to get published and some very strange things that start happening to her when she’s writing. It’s not the usual strange things, either, but I’ll let you work that out when/if you read it. Hopefully, a good friend of mine will be able to help me putting it into PDF form. He’s good at things like that. If not then I guess I’ll have to figure it out myself. I’m sure I’ll be able to, but I have a feeling that he’ll do a better job than I will with his expertise. He’s also pretty good graphically so he might be able to make it look like more than just your regular PDF story.

I have to finish the WIP first, though. I’m already a good way into it. I decided to start a couple of days ago. The problem with writing here at the moment is that everybody’s so excited about the World Cup (football or soccer depending on where you are) and so my dad has been watching it on the television. That would be fine, except for the fact that my dad is pretty hard of hearing. This means that he has the volume on the television up really loud so that all you can hear is vuvuzelas. I have come to despise vuvuzelas. They are the stupid too loud horns that the fans keep playing at the World Cup. They are all you can hear on the television. I’d go upstairs and write so that I was far enough away from the sound of the vuvuzelas, but there is an even worse racket up there by the name of Master Berserker.

Master Berserker likes to play screamo music very very loudly. This means that even closing my bedroom door does not shut off the dreadful din. If I could afford to have my room fully soundproofed then I would. It would give me much more time and peace to write… which is what I’m going to go do now because that WIP won’t finish itself.
